According to a statement from Ulusal Fuarcılık, the fair, which aims to give the sector a major boost and is being held for the 9th time this year, has opened its doors at the Istanbul Fuar Merkezi. The fair, which offers opportunities for companies seeking to enter the international market and establish global partnerships, is expected to host visitors from 120 countries.
The fair, where a wide variety of pet products, supplies, and accessories will be on display, was visited by a total of 233,815 people in previous editions.

Visitors can find everything they need for their pets, including food and feed for cats, dogs, and birds, as well as cat litter, toys, grooming supplies, cosmetics, health products, aquariums, cleaning items, and specially designed clothing and accessories.

This year, among the notable events at the fair dedicated to pet lovers, the 'Pet Fashion Show' stands out. Various educational sessions and shows are also organized at the fair venue for those curious about the direction of pet care and style trends.
Throughout the fair, the Çağdaş Grooming team will be showcasing the latest in dog breed grooming, styling, and training through informative demonstrations. Meanwhile, the Ukranian Grooming team will be presenting grooming demonstrations and events for specialized breeds such as Pomeranians, Maltipoos, Poodles, and Maltese.

In his statement, Selçuk Çetin, the General Manager of National Fair Organization, emphasized that the fair brings together the pet industry, stating, 'The pet products sector has shown tremendous growth in recent years, becoming a $250 billion market with a 150% growth in the last 5 years. Behind this growth are the increased time spent at home during the pandemic, our growing interest in pets, and innovative approaches in the sector.
Highlighting Turkey's potential in this field Çetin, “The Turkish pet sector holds a significant position not only in the domestic market but also in the global market. With total consumer figures approaching $1 billion, exports account for $250 million of our sector. We aim to further increase this figure in the coming years.”
